If for every kindly deedDone to us from day to day,We endeavored to take heed And return for it full pay—

I love the clouds that sweep the blue;The breeze, that trips the violets through;The swaying grasses, bending trees,The brilliant moth, the valiant bees,I love the shadows of the wood—I love to know that God is good!

OCTOBER

What radiance lies on every side!The mellow earth is crownedWith golden promise multiplied,From farthest bound to bound.

TRIFLES

A crumb from the Master's table,A tear from the love-lit eye,A pang from the mother's bosom,A beam from the noonday sky.

GUIDANCE

How glad the dawn of each new day,Since I have learned to knowThat Love doth ever point the way'Tis right for me to go.

SHOW ME THY FACE

No man shall look upon my face and live.

COMFORT

Love , little children,Meaneth comfort in the doing,Comfort from the Father-heartSent to those who do their part.
