A gem

I'm a gem,Uniquely admirable, perfect,Fashioned in God's image!
Do we stand, mute and wondering, stunnedby voice-overs with violent imagerythat scan in seconds whole lifetimesof striving and getting, regretting and forgiving?

In the circle of Love

I'm in the circle of Love all day,Enfolded in God's arms—Beloved and cared for all the way,Watched over, safe from harm.

Dawn

Dawn is the beginning of a brand-new day,New things to do, new things to say.
Human mother-love, with comfort and caring, has gone beyond my sight.

Mountain high

Delightfully startled, I steppedAround a jagged boulder,Confronting a crimson wildflowerFreely sharing its God-given beauty.
You are all welcome.

My prayer

No fearful supplication,no pleading with an angry god on high, but, rather, joyous affirmationof Love omnipotentand nigh.

Glory

Too bad, they said.
