Healing stories from South Africa

Teen writers from a South African Sunday School share their stories.

Seasons of good

I recently saw a photograph of my childhood summer camp as it looks in February—the lake nearly frozen, the water slide coated with ice, and the trees draped in snow.
We don't need to converse with "the deceiver" on the other end of the line.
Others may see us in the practice long before we think we’re ready. Let’s not be the last ones to find out.

Safe from terrorism

One day about 25 years ago, while I was watching the news, I saw a report on a terrorist bombing at an international airport.
I remember going clamming with my parents and grandparents one day when I was a child.
Last July, I experienced a memorable glimpse of the nature of God’s thoughts to each of us.
The plenty and the safety of divine energy—entirely spiritual facts—get expressed on the day-to-day, human scene.

The burning bush

“Put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.
How could healing be consistent, and repeated, rather than an out-of-the-heavenly-blue miracle?
