Notwithstanding the condemnation excited of late, both here and abroad, the Christian Scientists, according to reports made at their convention in this city, continue to increase in numbers, We note that last year there was an increase of seventy-five churches, while in 1897 the new churches numbered only forty-four.
It
may be of some interest to the Field, especially to Pennsylvania, to state that last January our little church felt that the time had arrived to apply for a charter.
The
