In the Christian Science Bible Lesson

The Telegram recently contained an article, "Mental Healing by Suggestion," in which Christian Science was mistakenly referred to.
It is not very reasonable from any standpoint to suppose that Jesus would take away suffering if it was God's law that humanity should suffer for the purposes of salvation.
An anonymous writer, speaking of Christian Scientists, declares that he has "investigated their methods and results,—many of them in the coroner's court,—and begs to say that should occasion arise, he would prefer a medical practitioner.

After carefully reading and rereading many times some of the very helpful articles in our periodicals relating to Sunday school work, I feel impelled to express my gratitude for these and numerous other excellent articles on the commandments which have appeared from time to time.
In order to approach the subject of Christian Science and legislation intelligently, it is necessary to remember that the American people are a religious people, and that the prevailing religion in the United States is Christian.
