In the Christian Science Bible Lesson

God Revealed Through Man

The writer of the epistle to the Hebrews opens that remarkable appeal for a more spiritual interpretation of Judaic symbolism with the proposition that God "hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son,.

Distribution Work

Some years ago, when the distribution of literature was first introduced into our city, it fell to the writer's lot to interview the manager of the largest hotel to ask his permission to place some Christian Science literature in the reading-room of that hotel.

Truth-filled Thought

The transformation of mortal thought, whereby old things pass away and all things become new, is to the Christian Scientist the royal road whereon Paul met Christ.

True Courtesy

Considerable space has been given recently in the News to the reporting of lectures in which spiritual healing by prayer was discussed.
An article in the Israelite contains disparaging remarks about Christian Science, but it might be left without comment did it not purport to give information about this religion while conveying, unintentionally perhaps, false impressions of some of its teachings.
For a rapid-fire succession of misleading statements about Christian Science it would be difficult to find the equal of the pamphlet recently distributed in your community, in which a minister attacks a man of straw of his own making and calls it Christian Science.
After a lecture in any community by a member of the board of lectureship of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, it is not uncommon for some of the ministers of other churches to compare their respective religions with Christian Science, and conclude that the latter has no benefits to offer which cannot be gained through the former.

"Christ in you"

In his epistle to the Colossians, Paul uses this expression: "Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Divine Protection

As a conductor in the employ of an electric railway company, I have had many opportunities to prove the truths of Christian Science.
