Kindly allow me to say a word in your columns by reason of a disrespectful comment on Christian Scientists and a mistaken statement about Christian Science which was reported in a recent issue of your paper.
It
is related in the gospels that Jesus instructed his disciples, when he sent them forth to preach the kingdom of heaven and to heal the sick, "Whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.
Any
one who has sincerely entered upon the study of Christian Science does not proceed far until it is revealed to him that humility must open the portals of that Science in order that its riches and enduring treasures, which Mrs.
Through
the study of Christian Science we learn to apply the truths of divine Being to our daily problems; and according to the degree of our understanding of these truths do we demonstrate or prove the power of the Word,—God's Word,—which is law.
So
much depends upon the way in which we view things, that it behooves mankind to see the prime importance of getting the right view, which is, of course, the spiritual view.
