Hide and seek

Among the games of my childhood that I most fondly recall is one called hide and seek.

The reign of good

To consider who or what is reigning is of great importance.
Once I heard an experienced Christian Scientist say that gratitude is a law.

Although the snow had stopped, blowing winds off the prairie sent drifts across roads and obstructed vision on runways.

Christian diplomacy

As a man reaches out for a better understanding of peace, he finds protection for his family and sees the potential of Godimpelled diplomacy.
The real answer to animosity, global and individual, lies in the common ground of spiritual unity.

Liberation from tyranny

What can we do about tyranny? Who or what is the tyrant? Prayer awakens thought and brings freedom to a group of unjustly imprisoned people.

The arms race that will bless

To wage peace, we can bring to bear the mightiest weapon of all — divine Love.

Authentic heroism

A walk in the country

When I was in elementary school, I started taking guitar lessons at a home about a mile from the school.

To heaven with them

When people have offended us, been unkind, or even deliberately cruel, and we disagree with them, how easy it is to fall into the old devil belief and say (to ourselves at least), "To blazes with them!" But when we do this, are we not saying they are unworthy of our love, and God's love?
