What got me started 

I have been working for the past 20 years with 18 different Bible translations when reading the weekly Bible Lesson in the Christian Science Quarterly.

Au pair ad led to answers 

I grew up in France.
Unlike many Northerners, Mary Baker Eddy had had firsthand experience with slavery.
I can think of everyone as my brother or sister, including those across the globe whom I haven't met.
It was clear to me that God was indeed mightier than stormy seas.
I had to bear witness to God’s unlimited, spiritual selfhood, and myself as the individualized spiritual idea of God.
