It would be well for self-appointed critics of Christian Science to heed carefully Jesus' teaching concerning "the mote" and "the beam" and to "judge righteous judgment.
An extract from a sermon by Professor—,published in the Southern Cross, contains a reference to Christian Science in which he speaks of this religion as a fashionable form of racial folly, practising esoteric mysteries, the root of which, according to the professor, is an unspiritual thirst after a sign, after thaumaturgic wonders, and other things on the level of conjuring tricks.

Grateful Praise

Some one remarked a while ago that he did not see why the Bible contained so many commands to praise and to magnify God; but in Christian Science how easily and beautifully this is explained!
