It is difficult to understand how any one, even though but slightly acquainted with the subject, could style the text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," the Bible of Christian Scientists.
Christian Science has spread rapidly during nearly half a century, and the last two or three years have witnessed its greatest growth.
There is now and then a physician and surgeon who, in the eyes of his fellows, must be reckoned terribly "unprofessional.
It is regrettable to notice that an evangelist has stepped aside from his work of "glorifying God" to criticize a religion with which, judging from his words as quoted, he is unacquainted.
In the editorial on Sunday school work your readers are warned against heresies and various isms, among which Christian Science is included.
Your correspondent is not correct in his assumption that it is an argument of Christian Science to say that "since the creator is all good there is no sin, suffering, or sorrow in the world.
