There are times in our lives and in the lives of nations when the rivers of hope and direction seem to have run dry. We are thirsty and we don't quite know where to quench the thirst. That is when we most need what the Bible calls the "river of water of life."

What joy!

Joy does not depend on circumstances. We can discover it welling up within us as we learn to live in accord with God.
