To ensure that complete lecture notices be printed in the Sentinel, detailed information should reach the Journal, Sentinel, and Herald Editorial Department regarding lectures in the United States and Canada at least seven weeks before the date of the lecture; elsewhere, eight or ten weeks before.
"The secret place" is the title of a new vest pocket pamphlet which contains articles reprinted from the Christian Science periodicals especially interesting to the men and women in the armed services.
Beginning May 1, 1943, per capita tax statements will be mailed each year to all members of The Mother Church, as a reminder of the provisions of Article VIII, Section 13, of the Church Manual covering the payment of a per capita tax "of not less than one dollar" annually.
Applications for membership in The Mother Church are acted upon by The Christian Science Board of Directors, twice each year, as provided for by the Manual of The Mother Church, Article XIII, Section 2.
