Foliage of Love
Your countenance, mother,
Shone through that sense
Of age and time.
And, like buds
Foretelling inevitable blooms,
An inner foliage revealed
The ever-present reality:
Blossoms of immortal life
And selfless love.
In obedience to Love,
Hues of humility
Gained through steadfast faith and surrender
Dissolved personal sense and pain.
And now, open petals of grace
In a radiant foliage of colorful light
Fill the room
With eternal, impartial Love.
