Discovering light

There’s a light within me!
There’s a light within
that’s pure reflection.
There’s a light within
that glows and can’t be dimmed.
There’s a light within
—divine illumination—
that praises God
and finds its source in Him.

There’s a love within me!
There’s a love within
that’s divine in every aspect.
There’s a love within
that purifies and heals.
There’s a love within
that grows a little stronger
each time I yield
to do His will.

Oh, let this love shine brightly,
send forth a psalm to Him,
that all may know God’s goodness
and find the light within.
