I was introduced to Christian Science in 2002 by a Christian Science practitioner who has since helped me overcome many challenges through prayer. I have become convinced that knowing the truth about our relationship to God brings freedom from all kinds of problems. 

I would like to share a recent example.

One afternoon, my colleagues and I had a meeting with the director of the institute where I have been serving for twenty years. During the meeting, some of the faculty members started talking about diseases, accidents, and even death. I prayed silently, realizing that because God is infinite good, things that are not good have no authority or reality. God does not know disease, accident, or death. I also prayed that these distressing conversations could not influence me or anyone.
