A welcome return to work
After a visit to relatives in 2022, my wife and I felt sick. On the way home, we received a call from these relatives notifying us that they had tested positive for Covid-19. After testing, we found out we were positive as well and began isolating from others as per recommended protocols.
For the first couple of days, my symptoms were very strong. Though I work from home, I was not able to perform my duties and spent most of the day and night in bed. I had asked a Christian Science practitioner for metaphysical treatment.
On the second night, a thought came to me that changed my perspective from focusing on the symptoms and discomfort to feeling hope and inspiration. I don’t remember precisely what the thought was, but I became certain of the mental nature of the disease and was thoroughly conscious of God’s presence; I knew I would be well.
