Healed of gluten intolerance
When I was about twenty, I started feeling sick every time I ate. I visited a doctor, who recommended I try avoiding gluten and dairy. This seemed to help, and I was even able to slowly add dairy back in after a couple of years. But I continued to feel sick whenever I ate foods containing gluten.
Then I learned about Christian Science. A few months into my study of this Science, a friend at my local branch Church of Christ, Scientist, gave me some issues of the Sentinel to read. An article in one of them caught my attention: “No longer lactose intolerant” by Charlene Anne Miller (May 14, 2018).
Until then, I hadn’t even thought of gluten intolerance as something that could be healed. I had been dealing with it for so long that I’d come to think of it as almost a part of me. But after reading this article, I started thinking about it from a spiritual perspective.
