Quickly healed during college summit
This is adapted from a testimony originally posted during The Mother Church’s online Wednesday testimony meeting.
My job revolves around the academic schedule of students throughout the United States. When students are in school, I’m focused on supporting Christian Science Organizations (CSOs) on campuses all across the country. When they’re out of school, I help out with things like The Mother Church’s summer internship program and the planning of summits for college students and faculty.
One morning during the college summit that took place in 2012, I woke up with a start and wasn’t able to open one of my eyes, which was painful. My thoughts rushed madly with confusion as I tried to get out of my eye whatever it was that was keeping me from seeing. On top of this concern about my eye, I became increasingly fearful that I wouldn’t be able to lead the CSO workshop that was to happen later that day as a key event of the gathering.
But before I got too far down this road of mortal reasoning, an angel message tenderly came to me, and I saw that this was an opportunity for healing.
