Ready to rely on God’s guidance
When my husband and I each had applied to the same Christian Science teacher to take Primary class instruction in Christian Science, neither of us knew of the other’s application. But we were both accepted to the class, and so we made our plans to attend.
Before the time for class came, however, my husband unexpectedly passed on, leaving me to run our engineering business. Initially, I didn’t think I could leave the business for the two weeks of class, but as I considered the situation prayerfully, I felt that taking class was the right thing to do and went ahead with the wonderful course.
Class was a turning point for me. Though I had been raised in Christian Science, what I learned during the wonderful experience of class strengthened my understanding of Christian Science and enabled me to really make it my own. I felt that I came back a new person, ready to rely on God’s guidance, knowing that He unfolds nothing but good for His ideas.
