True growth is only good
I’d like to express gratitude for a healing I had earlier this year of a growth under my eye. The growth was small at first but got larger and larger, to the point that our young son noticed it and said something about it several times. My reply was simply that it would go away. Nobody else mentioned it, but I began to worry that others might be noticing it, too.
Over the next weeks I turned deeply to God in prayer about what I was facing. I was listening for fresh spiritual ideas, knowing that the inspiration I received from God would heal the condition. I also knew that as much as the growth appeared to be physical, it was actually the result of something in thought—not something that was my thinking, per se, but something that was masquerading as my thinking and could be eradicated by the Christ, which would bring the natural, healthy, divine inspiration I was seeking.
One of the first thoughts that came to me during this time was that no false impression could ever stick to me, grow on me, or grow on anyone else. In other words, nobody I knew, or had ever worked with, could ever hold on to a false idea about me or my work.
