Morning stillness

Copenhagen, Denmark
An early morning walk brought me alongside this canal in Copenhagen. The relative peace and quiet of daybreak was evidenced in the stillness of this reflection. Hardly a ripple disturbed the stability of the image in the water. A Bible verse came to me: “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalms 46:10).
