Pull up a pew

We've asked some bold questions in recent issues of the Sentinel, including "Why believe in God?" So you might not be surprised by this week's challenge, "Why go to church?"

In a way, this is a question the Sentinel deals with in one form or another every week as it explores and explains the value of making the concept of Church a healing influence in daily life.

Is there a better place to enjoy a sense of unity with other believers and healers, and help one another to see and grasp the light of Truth? As Susan Mack writes of her early experiences as a member of a Christian Science branch church (p. 6): "It never occurred to me to wonder why I went to church. It was for the tenderness each member expressed. And this love opened up a window to understanding the nature of God, who I learned is divine Love itself."
