THE SOURCE IS WITH YOU
With only a few weeks to go before starting my new job, I confided to my husband that I had a pit in my stomach. I'd never thought of myself as a very creative writer. And now I was going to be writing regularly for a magazine. I was worried about coming up with enough ideas for the articles I'd be assigned.
"Everyone has a pit in their stomach," my husband gently responded. "I think you meant to say you have a knot."
Hardly an encouraging start for a would-be wordsmith.
