The Word of God frees a young girl
Originally published in Le Héraut de la Christian Science
Among the numerous healings I've had through Christian Science, there is one I especially cherish.
When my daughter was very young, she had a speech impediment. She mispronounced certain words to the point where everybody around us noticed it. And she'd become upset when people made her repeat the words she said wrong.
Her teacher at school suggested special courses, and my brother constantly asked me if I was going to have her seen by a doctor. One of my husband's friends mentioned surgery. I have to confess that I was unsatisfied at all the advice I was given (even though everybody meant well), because I knew that the proposed solutions did not guarantee a definitive healing, which is what I wanted for my daughter. I wanted her to be completely free of this problem.
