Warts gone in a few days
When I was in the fifth grade, I had some warts on my hands and feet. I prayed about this a couple times, but it didn't seem to be any better. Then I noticed that I had a lot more. I talked to my mom about it, and we decided to pray differently.
Just like the river is never separated from its source, we are never separated from God.
Every week I go to Sunday School. There I learn facts about Christian Science—like the fact that I am God's perfect reflection, and that this fact heals.
Instead of praying for the problem to "go away," we let go of it and thought about what God knows: that He made everyone in His image and likeness—pure, free, and unchangeable. We held to that, and let God take charge. I realized that I didn't need to be afraid anymore.
In a few days all of the warts were completely gone, and they have never come back.
