'Joy and rejoicing'
So , what's new this year? What can we say about Christmas that's never been said before?
It occurs to us that this is one of those occasions when we don't really have to be different. The best story of all time has already been told. We can't improve on the wonder of it. Just bring it freshly to the attention of everyone.
Since its establishment by Mary Baker Eddy in 1898, the Sentinel has been publishing editorials about Christmas. And the chorus of praise from many people at this time of year, inspired by a host of angels watching over the Bethlehem landscape, doesn't change: "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men" (Luke 2:14).
