"There Must Be a revolution in our hearts, in our minds, in our souls, to respect the dignity and worth of all humankind. If we're going to build a sense of community, a beloved community in this nation [the United States], we have to include everybody," says Congressional Representative John Lewis of Georgia, who was a student worker for civil rights during the 1960s. "We've got to live together like brothers and sisters. During the early days of the civil rights movement, we talked about a 'coalition of conscience.' We must help our young people to form a coalition of community, a sense of the beloved community, even the kingdom of God."
