Multiple bee stings healed through prayer
One day while I was hiking in the woods with my son, he inadvertently stirred up a nest of bees. I was right behind him, and though I covered my face with my hands, I was stung many times. I am grateful that my son was not stung. When we got to the car, my son and my mother removed the bees from my hands and clothes, all the while reassuring me that I would be all right.
On the way home in the car, there was a numbness at first, but soon I was able to declare truths to myself. I prayed with these thoughts: "God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good" (Gen. 1:31). And from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, "All of God's creatures, moving in the harmony of Science, are harmless, useful, indestrucible" (p. 514). I was filled with love for the bees. Within an hour all pain and swelling were gone, with the exception of one small place on my ear. It, too, was normal by the next morning. How grateful I am for this proof of God's law of love.
