One evening recently, while teaching a piano student in my home, I went to get a music book from a cabinet in the room. As I reached to open the drawer, I turned an ankle and foot completely under. Since the mishap did not at first appear to be serious, I went quickly back to the piano and continued with the lesson without saying anything. I did not pray specifically about the occurrence, either. During the next two lessons, my foot became very painful, and when I rose from the chair at the end of the evening I was unable to move any part of my foot. Since I was unable to move about the house easily, I decided to go to bed and pray to heal the injury.
My foot felt completely normal. There was no recovery period.
