No one, not ever

No one
can make us sin
or be a sinner.

Not
mother, father,
sister, brother,
husband, wife,
child or friend,
can make us bend
a listening ear
to serpentine murmurs
that would beguile away
our innocence.

Ever
children of God—
originated in Love,
raised in Truth,
environed in Love,
impelled by Soul,
informed by Mind,
substanced by Spirit,
planted on Principle,
inseparable from Christ ...
no one, not ever,

Can relate us to sin.
