RECLOTHED

Strip me, God, if need be!
Make me clean!
It's better far
to stand in naked shame
if Yours has been the hand
that rends the covering.

For Yours will be
the Christ of Love
that gently clothes
me now
with unseamed robe
of radiant purity!
