You Can Pray for Yourself
(written at age 7)
Did you know that if you are sick and can't play then you can ask your mom to get your Bible and Science and Health? Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy; They show how you can pray for yourself. Just turn to pages 16 and 17 in your Science and Health. There is the Lord's Prayer. The part I like best is the part that says, "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil," Matt. 6:13; with Mrs. Eddy's spiritual interpretation, "And God leadeth us not into temptation, but delivereth us from sin, disease, and death." And in Exodus, Chapter 20, it says that you shall have "no other gods before me," Ex. 20:3. so you know God is good and so you cannot be sick or sad or mad at somebody.
