I first became interested in Christian Science through a classmate...
I first became interested in Christian Science through a classmate when in my last year of school.
I had become dissatisfied with the answers received from Sunday School teaching in another church about four years before this, so had stopped attending. My friend invited me to go with her to a Christian Science Sunday School. I did, and was thrilled when the teacher could answer the questions I had been seeking answers to. My friend moved away shortly after this, but I continued to attend Sunday School and church regularly. My mother permitted me to go, but my dad was not too happy about it. I continued until I was twenty, and then after waiting a year I joined the branch church.
I married a young man whom I met at the church, and he also became a member.
