The
Annual Meeting of The Mother Church, on June 8, again brought together an assemblage of Christian Scientists from near and far, which completely filled the church edifice.
In
discussing the fate of unbelievers, Paul issued to the Christians in Rome a warning and a promise worthy of careful consideration by all who try to direct their course in accordance with Christian teaching.
Paul
recognized and presented a clear sense of truth when he wrote to the Corinthians, "We that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
Owing to an accident while skating when twelve years old, I suddenly had to exchange a life of happy work and activity for one of stillness and constant pain.
In praise and gratitude for the great gift of Christian Science, as perceived and given to the world by that grand and noble woman, Mary Baker Eddy, I wish to add my testimony.
