Christian Science has been my only physician for sixteen years. I have been healed of rheumatism, sick headaches, and many other ills. One healing, that of pneumonia, was particularly helpful to me. I found that I was not overcoming it and asked for help from a Christian Science practitioner, who lovingly enabled me to see it as a mental condition. As I examined my thought I found I was not thinking of a member of the family as kindly as I should, and being a student of Christian Science I knew that I was accountable for my thoughts, and wrong thoughts had resulted in the physical trouble. In a few days I found myself happy and perfectly well, and was grateful for the lesson learned and for the assurance that this healing has given to me that, as Mrs. Eddy says on page 66 of Science and Health, "Trials are proofs of God's care."—(Mrs.) EMMA BROWN SMITH, Bridgeport, Connecticut.
