I have thought for some time past that I should like to express my gratitude for the many benefits that have been received by myself and family through Christian Science, and I especially wish to tell of the last demonstration made for me. A short time before Christmas I noticed on one of the fingers of my left hand what seemed to be a small pimple, but did not pay much attention to it at that time. A few days later I discovered that it was growing quite rapidly, and it troubled me a great deal. I felt considerable fear, but thought that by reading Science and Health I should be able to meet this ailment, which had been pronounced of a serious nature by friends and neighbors who had had similar experiences, one friend having just had a growth removed. These friends were most anxious for me to see a surgeon at once, and have a surgical operation, which they assured me would be a very trifling one. I had great fear of the operation and its possible consequences, but the growth was increasing so rapidly that I decided something must be done immediately. An acquaintance recommended a Christian Science practitioner, and I went to see her at once. She took the case and treatment was commenced that day. It had then been about six weeks since the growth started. At the end of six weeks of treatment my finger was in perfect condition, without the slightest scar or blemish to show where the growth had been. My fear of its return was also entirely overcome. This is only one of many instances of healing that have been accomplished in our family through Christian Science.
