Other patients have died under the same medical supervision; the doctor sends in his bill, and is ready to attend the next deathbed; everybody—except, perhaps, the deceased—is satisfied. But when a Christian Science patient dies, in most cases after being subjected to preliminary treatment by the doctors, the newspapers announce the fact in their largest type as startling news, and the Science healers are denounced as bigoted impostors.—Town Topics.
