Soul searching

She asks me, "What is Soul?

Words

For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat.

By sight unseen

In this picture-world where thoughts are things,my life is like a net of self-design;fine mesh of will and wish and dreams, drawn up empty time and time again.

God's time

We hear it said,"Never say 'never'!"And so it is we can't alwayssay "always,"for we know not all the waysthere are in His design.

And obedience fills my net

If I had been fishing on that seaand Christ had called right out to me,"Cast the net on the right side,"Would I have obeyed?

Undefeated

My mission and yours restin the secret place,in spiritual identity,in sonship with Goduntouched by adversity,by private trials claiming to put an end to faith, claiming to defeat creativity, claiming to choke love and turn us inward.
