In the Christian Science Bible Lesson

Institutional work has taught me the importance of loving myself—seeing myself as God sees me—so that I can freely love others and be available to serve God in the way He points out.

Waking up to wrongdoing

From that morning on, I never again felt that impulse to steal.
I’ve learned from experience that our prayers are incomplete untilwe put the inspiration we get from God into practice.

Abiding in Love

It is a joy to accept the invitation to abide in Love and experience that harmony right here, right now.
Instead of feeling responsible for coming up with a solution for a problem, we can turn wholeheartedly to God and listen for His angels.
I listened for a good thought from God to know how to answer.

What comes next?

It was the end of high school and this author felt pulled between her parents’ desire for her future, and her own. What came next was an unexpected answer from God.

Trusting God with track season

This athlete wanted to perform well—for herself and for her track team. But when the stress got to be too much, she knew she needed a change of mind-set. And that started with God.

Turn it over to God

I slowly learned to relinquish the belief that I was responsible for fixing others or righting the injustices of the world and to instead have greater faith in God’s ability to right what is wrong and fully care and provide for His children.

Your ability to heal

It was less about what Jesus was thinking, or even what he was saying, than about the love of God he was reflecting, the purity of God’s creation he was seeing, and the curative effect that such a divinely inspired view had on others.
The inspiring ideas contained in the Sentinel were right on target—just what I had been searching for.

“Team Humanity”

We can each protest against and resist the temptation to ignore or reject our natural goodness—to refuse to speak or act in ways that are contrary to our true, spiritual nature, and that would wound rather than heal and serve self rather than the greater good.
