Why did this happen to me?

No matter what appears to be the cause for the challenges we face, there is a way out. This author found her way as she let Christ, Truth, not her own will, lead her.

God's man can never disappear

"More than anything, I wanted to help to heal the anger and deep sorrow ...." The writer echoes a feeling many have had about human rights abuses. Learning more of man's spiritual nature lays a foundation for the effort to heal.

I have a friend who is convinced that on a specific night a few years ago she woke from a sound sleep and was compelled to pray because of the desperate need of someone in another country whom she didn't know at the time.
Is prayer a matter of asking God for what we don't have? Or is it opening thought to what God is and what He has already given us?

POSITIVE PRESS

From Western Daily Press (Bristol, England), September 19, 1988
Whether we're working with senior citizens or with children, our assumptions about the nature of man make a difference. This author found she was more effective when she started with a spiritual view of man, as God's expression.
From The Christian Science Monitor, August 17, 1989

"The highest virtue..."

Pride and egotism work like blinders. We don't see that Christ, Truth, is leading us to the answers we need.
Many people worry about the misleading images of manhood and womanhood in the media. But where do we go from there?
The Sentinel is meant to be shared.
