This testimony is given in loving gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me; it is now eight years since I became interested in the study of it. I cannot express in words the gratitude I feel toward Mrs. Eddy, who discovered the law of spiritual healing which Christ Jesus had taught and demonstrated, and which she named Christian Science.

Like many others who know little or nothing about Christian Science, I condemned it publicly and privately, not knowing in the least what I was talking about. I began the study after being told by several different doctors that there was no known cure for me. I had suffered over twenty years from a skin disease, and from a human standpoint my case was hopeless; but I was healed entirely after a few treatments by a Christian Science practitioner. Gratitude for such healing can only be expressed by devotion to God.

There were also many unhappy conditions in the home, but one by one they are yielding to the power of Truth. I am deeply grateful for all the blessings received through my study. I have been healed of sick headaches from which I had suffered all my life, often being confined to my bed for a week at a time, and never being free for more than a few weeks until I began reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, eight years ago. This was my first demonstration, and no one can understand how grateful I am for a religion which teaches and demonstrates that God is the only power, a God who is ever present Love. My daughter was also healed of blindness six years ago after three doctors had said there was no cure for her, and she has had perfect sight ever since. My son, now nine years old, was always sick until I began the study of Christian Science, but with the loving help of a practitioner we have been able to overcome everything that has tried to manifest itself the last seven years, and he is perfectly healthy in every way and does not know what it is to take medicine.
