It is with deep and heartfelt gratitude that I send this testimony to the Sentinel, so that all may know what Truth has done for me and is doing. It is very beautiful to be able to tell one's own experiences, and not merely repeat what some one else has said. For some years now I have been a student of Christian Science, and during those years the overcoming of sin and sickness has been beautiful. Although I, like most students, am deeply grateful for the healing of sickness, I am far more grateful for the healing of sin; we can only gain the physical healing through overcoming the thoughts which produce sickness.

I have had many proofs of the healing power of Truth, one of which I should like to mention. I seemed to be suffering from a belief of nervous exhaustion, being too tired to take any interest in anything; in fact I seemed very listless. I went to stay with a very loving practitioner, who saw the trouble and gave me the sweetest and most loving help. In a week I was perfectly healed; my strength returned and I felt well and happy. My heart goes out in deep gratitude to our Father-Mother God, and to our revered Leader for this practical truth; and my gratitude is great for our dear, loving practitioners. I can see more clearly every day that if I wish to progress, it must be in the way Love points out, and not in my own way. My earnest desire is to grow in the understanding of Truth and to be able to comfort and help others as I have been helped.
