Times-Echo

The Los Angeles information in the Times-Echo of recent date is good news. When leaders of religious denominations call a meeting in Los Angeles for the purpose of considering healing by spiritual means as taught by the great Master, they are not "fighting Christian Science," but, as they state, are returning "to the old apostolic faith" and "practice." We are rejoiced to see that day rapidly approaching. It might interest your readers to know of this prophecy by the Founder of the Christian Science church, Mary Baker Eddy. On page 22 of "Pulpit and Press" she writes, "If the lives of Christian Scientists attest their fidelity to Truth, I predict that in the twentieth century every Christian church in our land, and a few in far-off lands, will approximate the understanding of Christian Science sufficiently to heal the sick in his [Christ's] name."
