Indivisible

As inseparable as salt is from the sea
or blue from the clear sky above
As warmth from the simmering sun
or a child from its dear mother’s love

That’s how near am I to my Father
whose Being is truly my own
His priceless virtues I never can lose
and by them is how I am known

For there’s nary a sliver between us
neither void, divide, nor doubt
Ever ensconced in God’s house I dwell
because He’s what I’m all about
