A healing on Halloween
It was a cold, crisp Halloween night, but instead of trick-or-treating with my friends, I was stuck at my friend’s house with a sprained ankle. Earlier that night, I had collided with someone much bigger than I am, and the result had been that I had slipped and twisted my ankle the wrong way.
However, while I sat there with my ankle hurting, wishing I was out with everyone else, a thought came to me: What would I do if Jesus were right there in the room with me? Well, I knew that if Jesus were there, I would not be in pain or be struggling. From reading the Bible, I knew that people who came to Jesus for healing were healed immediately.
