You are not alone

No heart need be empty of God’s love.
Christ Jesus, who taught and lived the all-sufficing love we all need, continually prayed. In one sense he was alone, inasmuch as no one around him really understood his mission. Even his disciples mistook him for a man intending to set up an earthly kingdom, and he had enemies who plotted to kill him. In these circumstances most men would feel solitude to an acute degree. Yet Jesus had no such view of himself. He said, “The Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.”John 8:29
Instead of letting persons or circumstances dictate loneliness to him, he maintained permanent insulation against it by denying its very existence and by knowing and expressing his sonship to God, the Father in whose love he trusted.
