What Mrs. Eddy Said to Arthur Brisbane: Introduction
Originally published in the 1930 pamphlet titled “What Mrs. Eddy Said to Arthur Brisbane”
Arthur Brisbane , the eminent American writer and editor, published an article in the Cosmopolitan Magazine in August 1907, which was destined to become an historic document among those interested, as faithful adherents or merely as students of important events of their times, in Christian Science.
The article was a vivid pen picture of Mary Baker Eddy as she appeared in that year, mentally, physically, and spiritually, and because of a press dispute over her condition and circumstances, the establishing of the facts concerning Mrs. Eddy was of the utmost significance.
