The senses of Spirit: are there senses of matter? (Continued.)

Originally published in the November 15, 1890 issue of the Christian Science Series (Vol. 2, No. 14)

[Continued from “The senses of Spirit: are there senses of matter?”]

The words "as material,” used to qualify the statement that the goods and pleasures of sense are evil and that continually, require elucidation.

Science and Health says, "This depraved mortality, misnamed mind, would become extinct, and mortals would be annihilated, were it not for man's indissoluble connection with God. This unison Jesus brought to light in Divine Science; showing, through the law of opposites, that a mortal man is not the reality of man, hence this unreal man disappears to admit the reality." Science and Health , p. 155
