Women who’ve come a long way—and how they’ve done it - Program 113

Guests: Jane Moran, Susan Rynerson, Indu & Subhash Malhotra, Marian English

As we all know, laws and customs that have crumbled in many parts of the world over decades have opened the way for women to participate more fully and equally in society. But even so, there have been perceptions that have needed to crumble—“She can’t do that”—or “she shouldn’t do that”—or even a woman herself thinking ”I can’t” or “I shouldn’t." We talked with and about everyday women who pioneered past some of these perceptions. Hear what it took—ranging from courage to persistence to prayer—and to a deeper understanding of what they found to be the source of their abilities—God.
